KOP Annual Ball
Each year at the beginning of the Mardi Gras season, the Krewe of Phoenix throws a fabulous ball for their guests. The theme for the 2024 Ball was The Iconic 80's, and it was held on January 20th, 2024, at Fort Whiting in Mobile, Alabama. We celebrated the reign of Queen Eva XIII and King Logan XIII!

At the end of the tableau, we crowned our new monarchs, Queen Laura XIV and King Richard XIV. Our 15th Annual Ball is scheduled for February 8th, 2025, and will be held at Fort Whiting in Mobile, Alabama. We hope to see you there!

The Krewe of Phoenix
The Krewe of Phoenix (KOP) is an all-inclusive Mardi Gras Organization (LGBTQ) in Mobile, Alabama. Nine founding members started the organization in January 2009. The first general meeting with charter members was held on March 22, 2009.
Our main objective is to give viable support to the community. Our hope is to make a comfortable environment that will be fulfilling to all of us. Our dream is to not be complacent, but to grow and become a vital part of the community.
KOP has several events planned throughout the year, and we look forward to seeing you at these events.

POKER RUN
Once a year, KOP runs the town to see who can get the best hand.
New Member Mixer
In the late spring/early summer, KOP hosts a cocktail party for those who are interested in learning more about KOP and possibly joining the organization.
Monster Bash
In October, KOP throws one spooky party where guests can participate in a drawdown for a cash prize!
Crawfish boil
In June, KOP hosts a crawfish boil with plenty of mudbugs and plenty of spice!
